I allow myself to die a bit every day
Just to keep my words –
“Till death do us apart”.
They told me
it’s a story
Written in
blood, bound in leather
To outlive
ages, to stand all weather.
Through the
roaring seas
Through falling
sky
Through the
dreads of wild
Through the
mountains high
I walked
them all
I broke all
walls
I lead the
foray
I had all
faith in our story
We looked in
the eyes
I knew they
don’t lie
To the love
We had
arrived
We lived
that story
And nothing
to be sorry
But to the
end,
Now I depart
And I want
you to know
I allow myself to die a bit every day
Just to keep my words –
“Till death do us apart”.
